Samsung's Fan Edition products are designed for people who want most of the flagship experience without paying flagship prices, and the Galaxy Buds 3 FE follow that formula closely—while Samsung has cut a few premium features compared with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Buds 3 FE still cover most of what people actually use every day: active noise cancellation, solid battery life, strong call quality, and tight integration with Samsung devices. And right now, they're on sale for $109.99, down from their regular $149.99 price, which, according to price trackers, is just a few cents over the lowest price they've reached so far (with Prime Day 2026 approaching, this is one of the better wireless earbud deals we've come across so far).
The Buds 3 FE support 24-bit audio playback and include active noise cancellation, making them well-suited for commuting, working in busy environments, or simply reducing background noise while listening to music or podcasts. Battery life is solid, too, with up to eight hours of listening time on a charge, or around six hours if you keep ANC turned on. Samsung also put a noticeable amount of attention into call quality—with its AI-powered Crystal Clear Call feature designed to reduce background noise, so callers can hear you more clearly when you're outdoors or in crowded spaces.
That said, the bigger question is whether you'll benefit from Samsung's ecosystem features. Owners of Samsung Galaxy devices get extras like automatic switching between Galaxy devices, along with Find My support, Galaxy AI tools, and Gemini integration. Real-time translation is also available on compatible devices, allowing conversations in another language to be translated through the earbuds. Not everyone will use those tools regularly, but they're there if you need them. Also, you won’t get more premium features like wireless charging, head tracking, built-in voice controls, or true multipoint Bluetooth support for switching between devices from different brands. Fit can also vary depending on your ears. Still, for around $110, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE offer a lot of what people buy premium earbuds for in the first place, which is why CNET called them "the better value" compared with some pricier alternatives.
